Inovance celebrates success at ITMA 2023 in Milan

Crowds of visitors attended this year’s ITMA 2023 trade show in Milan, Italy, and many of them stopped to talk with the Inovance Technology Europe team.

We had a booth at the event in the Fiera Milano RHO, which ran from 8th - 14th June. Our team showcased an array of industrial automation products to representatives of the textile and garment industry from across Europe.

Owned by the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX), ITMA takes place every four years in Europe and has a rich 73-year history of showcasing the latest technology for every work process involved in textile and garment making. It is the world’s largest international textile and garment industry exhibition.

There was a great response to our innovative technology and our expert Inovance engineers met with lots of visitors at Stand E203 in Hall 9 of the exhibition, where they were able to demonstrate the specific potential of our market-leading solutions for textile and garment companies.

Inovance Technology Europe offers a complete range of motion control and industrial automation components and solutions, with popular products on display at the show including the MD520 high performance universal AC drive, which comes with unified AC asynchronous and PM synchronous motor control, safe torque off (STO), enhanced reliability with conformal coated PCBs and built-in DC reactor.

Also on show at ITMA 2023 was the market-leading Inovance MD800 compact AC multidrive, with a modular rack design allowing up to 8 drives per rectifier to reduce installation costs and cut overall drive footprint by up to 50% compared with traditional single drive modules. With flexible connectivity, high speed communications and world class performance, the MD800 is a world class multidrive that reduces installation and commissioning times by 2/3 through built-in cloning, easy wiring and maintenance.

Alongside the MD520 and the MD800, visitors at the expo had the chance to see and learn more about the high performance, compact, EtherCAT-enabled Easy Series PLC, which covers the whole range from the simplest to most complex motion control capabilities, and comes with PLCopen compliant axis control and multiple communication protocols.

This year’s ITMA trade exhibition was headlined Transforming the World of Textiles and highlighted current innovations in the industry, including discussions around the important topics of sustainability, automation and digitalization. With a total of 1,709 exhibitors attending ITMA 2023 and more than 111,000 visitors from 143 countries, representing the entire textile and garment making ecosystem, the show was a huge opportunity to show what Inovance Technology Europe can offer our customers.

ITMA 2027 will take place at the Hannover Exhibition Center in Germany from 16 to 22 September 2027 and we are planning to attend, as we continue to expand our European product range, operations and customers. Inovance has an installed base of more than 17 million AC and servo drives around the world and we are seeing this grow rapidly as customers discover the many benefits offered by our comprehensive portfolio of industrial automation solutions and components.
