Indumation, Belgium: here’s to the return of the in-person trade show!

The Indumation show in Belgium went off with great success in May, and Inovance Technology France was delighted to attend.

Meeting our customers again face-to-face was absolutely fantastic. Like everyone, we’ve had regular virtual customer collaboration over the last two years, but nothing can beat a face-to-face meeting. After just one show, I felt I had a radically improved understanding of our Belgian customers concerns and hopes.

We attended the show alongside our Belgian distributor, Act in Time, and one important goal was for us to deepen our relationship with them by learning better how they work. We began our collaboration with Act in Time 18 months ago and our experience working with them so far has been positive and invaluable.

We were lucky to have a dedicated section on the Act in Time booth and our presence and support allowed us to show to customers the type of service and offering we can provide. We also presented our impressive portfolio of products at the show, particularly the MD800 compact AC multi-drive and the SV660N servo drive.

Beyond product, part of our remit was to promote some of the important additional benefits that we, in conjunction with Act in Time, offer such as short lead times, and comprehensive after-sales service and support.

We went to the show with two expectations: to recover some of the lost flavor of a pre-covid trade show, and to strengthen our collaboration with Act in Time. We were not disappointed. We achieved both goals and all in all the show was a real success. The atmosphere was electric, and it was great to see some of the biggest OEMs in attendance as well as small integrators. The benefits of attending were clear: we came away with many new business leads, and great hopes for the future. Here’s to the return of the in-person trade show!
