Inovance Technology India Inaugurates New Distribution Centre in Chennai to expand its presence and improve productivity.

The new site will provide crucial support for stock management, product assembly, and testing, increasing the company’s overall productivity. 

Inovance’s operation in India launched in 2012 with just 1,850 sq. ft. of office space. Following strong growth in 2018, the company moved to new premises, covering approx. 10,000 sq. ft.  Substantial growth came in 2022, with Inovance moving to its new, much larger facility at the MM Nagar industrial area of Chennai in order to support rising customer demand and expand the business. We are delighted to announce that today Inovance India’s HQ is a total of 50,000 sq. ft.

The inauguration of the new center was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony by our Inovance international team leaders Roger Ooi and Steve Lee, alongside the Director of Inovance India, Anil Kumar. Managers from Inovance India started the inauguration with a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a speech from Anil in which he expressed his pride in the achievements of Inovance India and highlighted this remarkable milestone, saying “Inovance India was founded in 2012 and over the last ten years we have achieved significant and impressive growth rates compared to our major competitors”. 

Following Anil’s speech, Roger was presented with a gift by the Inovance India team to show their appreciation of his continuous support. Roger then gave a speech about his expectations and vision for Inovance India, thanking the India team for their achievements over the last year.

A general award ceremony was then held to recognize the achievements of the rest of the team. Award categories included outstanding performance, best team and most dedicated employees of 2022.

The first set of awards were for Best Team, Dream Team and Milestone Achievers. The Best Team prize was awarded to the Operations & Logisticsteam for their continued service round the clock, the Dream Team accolade was awarded to the Sales team for their remarkable work, and the Milestone Achievers title was awarded to the Elevator team for their exceptional performance in 2022.

Once the team awards were over, the next set of awards were for individual performances, which included Consistent Contributor, Star of the Year, Key Contributors 2022, Unmatched Dedication 2022, Rising Stars, and Employee of the Year.  

The team building activities, which were led by Rohit Kashyap, our Sales Growth Expert & Leadership Coach, were a great hit with employees.

Finally, a delicious variety of Indian dishes was provided for employees after a long day of team-building activities, followed by the planting of new saplings around the factory area.
