Pleidelsheim, Germany, 4.11.2019 - Power Automation last week hosted a series of open days for employees to sketch out the company’s future plans for sales growth and local investment in research and development facilities. The event on 21st October was attended by Pleidelsheim Mayor, Mr. Ralf Trettner, who spoke to senior executives to learn about their plans for the area.

Power Automation is owned by Inovance – a $1.2bn global industrial automation company. In July 2018, Inovance acquired Power Automation and has subsequently made it into the headquarters of their European division: Inovance Technology Europe, which also has offices in France, Italy and Turkey.

At the open day, senior executives from Inovance presented to employees and visitors to explain their vision for Power Automation’s future. Plans include ambitious targets to grow global sales of the company’s locally packaged CNC solutions (which contain industrial PCs, human-machine interfaces and servo drives and motors). Additionally, the company intends to make significant investments to expand its research & development capabilities in Pleidelsheim.

Frans van der Stel, General Manager of Inovance Technology Europe, who is based at Power Automation’s Pleidelsheim offices, says: “Inovance’s large global sales network is central to Power Automation’s ambitious sales targets, and discussion of this was a big part of the open day. This is great news for Pleidelsheim because it supports vital local jobs, and the company is an important source of employment for the region. Significant local investment is planned, particularly in research & development. In fact, we are right now recruiting for six positions in Pleidelsheim and I’d invite anyone interested to visit our vacancies at www.powerautomation.com. We were very pleased to welcome Pleidelsheim’s mayor, Mr. Ralf Trettner, to our premises on the 21st and we look forward to working with him on an ongoing basis.”

Ralf Trettner, Mayor of Pleidelsheim, adds: “It was great to meet managers from Inovance Technology and from Power Automation, and it was very interesting to look around the business. Power Automation has been an important local employer since it was established in 1993, and it is good to see that its current owners have such strong and exciting plans for expanding their Pleidelsheim operations. Inovance Technology Europe is bringing jobs and investment to our area, and I look forward to working with them closely in future.”
