A busy and successful SPS Italia 2023 for Inovance

The Inovance Technology Europe team has hailed SPS Italia 2023 in Parma a big success after our stand in Hall 3 of the leading automation and digitalization trade show proved very popular.

Italian engineers from Inovance were on hand on stand A039-A045 at the expo, which ran from 23-25 May this year, and we are very pleased with the conversations we had with potential and existing customers, as well as the strong interest shown in our complete portfolio of industrial automation and CNC solutions.

Taking place in Fiere de Palma, Italy, SPS Italia 2023 gathered together visitors and exhibitors from across the industrial automation value chain. Our 54 sq m booth provided plenty of space at the smart production solutions trade fair to showcase many of our market-leading products.

It was a great way to share our knowledge, experience and products with customers and products we chose to display at the exhibition included the innovative MD800 compact AC Multidrive, with its modular rack design that allows for flexible connectivity and drives down installation costs. Enabling up to 8 drives per rectifier and reducing overall drive footprint by up to 50% compared with traditional single drive modules, the MD800 is easy to maintain and the rising star of our product range.

Also on display at the Inovance stand was the MD810 multidrive system for induction and PMS motors, providing a wide range of communications options and drive ratings from 1.5-160 kW, the high performance IS810N multi-axes servo drive platform, the SV660, SV670 and SV680 compact servo drives, with user-friendly installation, and MD520 high performance universal AC drive and option cards.

As well as an extensive collection of drives and servos, visitors to the Inovance Technology Europe stand were able to see and learn more about products from our portfolio of components and solutions, such as the highly dynamic MS1 servo motor range, AM400 & AM600 Motion Controllers, AC700 & AC800 Series IPCs, GL10 & GR10 I/Os, IT7000 Series HMIs, the Easy Series PLC, GL20 I/Os, and the H5U Series PLC, which comes with PLC open-compliant axis control, as well as EtherCAT, PROFINET and Ethernet interfaces.

A total of 38,713 people attended SPS Italia 2023, a significant increase on last year, with more than 800 exhibitors showcasing their products and solutions, and over 130 talks, lectures and roundtable discussions. Key themes discussed and debated during the show included sustainability, the role of humans in technological development, and the relationship between artificial intelligence and ethics.

I am proud of what we achieved as the Inovance Italy team at SPS Italia 2023 and am looking forward to replicating our success at SPS Italia 2024, which will take place in Parma from 28-30 May next year. Inovance is a growing presence within Italy and across Europe as more and more customers find our comprehensive range of high-quality solutions meet their industrial automation needs.
